the technique for this photo is called 3d mesh, it is a technique that is done in photoshop by converting one or 2 layers & greyscale. link to instructions on how to do it - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/creating-3d-objects-animations-photoshop.html

i would use this technique in my work, to give one of my photos a 3d look, this being to make it stand out more & to give it a trippy affect

The reason why I have chosen to research him & analyse his work is because, as he is known for his camera obscura work, I find his photos very outstanding from others & very inspiring from others in which I have previously seen of the camera obscura calibre.
